James, son of Harold Hance Ayars and Hannie Shimp, was married to Esther [Mae Tomlinson] on June 1, 1936, at the Justice of the Peace in Elkton, Maryland. James was born at home in Alloway, New Jersey, and graduated from High School. James was a carpenter and lived in Carney's Point, New Jersey. James died of heart failure and is buried at the Fernwood Cemetery in Shiloh, New Jersey.
